violin and piano. i was a TA for my high school orchestra(i was in the upper
level chamber ensemble) and since the substitute teacher didn't know crap...i
ended up conducting. it was fun but i can't really hold a steady beat
1. I work in the Music Library at UW, so i shelve, check-out/check-in, help
patrons, maintain the silence, search for lost items by hand, and clean up the
place
2. I study for hours on end because I enjoy the silence of UW's reading room, I
am there when the library opens on weekends and there until they kick me out,
closing time.
3. I sleep, usually at one of the desks so I can catch up on nap time, or I am
just sleeping the time away before I go to work.
4. I use the bathrooms in the library because they are less discrete, as not as
many people are in the bathroom facilties at one time. So you can do #2 and not
worry about the bodily sounds you produce.
my destktop can handle it
P4 3.0 ghz
1.5 gig of RAM
200 gb of HD...running out! 80gb external running out!
x700 pro ATI Radeon 256 mb
the only thing on my mind is should i get a laptop now and acquire vista later
or purchase a laptop next year this time with vista already as the operating
system. gah the choices!
silliest thing....it could be falling asleep in lecture while sitting in the
front rows and having a sudden spaz attack. you just jolt and everyone around
you just snickers how you try to act cool about it but in reality it's just
funny!
hehe, it's funny how american animation is attempting to copy anime. however i
am picking with my anime, i have to see the storyline, the reviews, animation
quality and genre before i decide on sticking to it. mainstream anime is too
generalized and covers a broad fanbase, therefore i most likely an the minority
where i sit to 'underground' anime.
I watch anime and realize how Japanese manners are so much better than American
mannerisms. Damn we're rude! We don't bow when greeting or anything traditional.
I think it's also a cultural reasoning to the differences.
my manga books are in plastic bags to avoid dust and are in my dresser to avoid
sunlight...muwahaha good protection plan, unless fire breaks out! then i am
screwed...dvds and box sets sit next to the dvd player, not too many of those
however
I probably own about a $1000 worth of anime and manga. Hm..i might need to get
another external hard drive for the fansubs on my computer...that'll add another
100-200....yes very expensive, I make deep cuts for my college tuition and my
lust for the anime/manga lifestyle!
OICW is an impractical concept weapon. Only parts of the gun systems will be
used to integrate with modern warfare. There was a Discovery Channel special of
how it works, one of the biggest drawbacks was it's battery life. A solider can
carry it for about a day until all the juice runs out. OICW shelved in 2004. Old
news.
Sorry to burst your bubble but the XM8 program has been scrapped. US government
has been cutting costs and delaying further development of the program and was
finally cancelled on October 31, 2005.
